PENTIMENTO INSTRUCTIONS

instructions for continuing the drawings we started on monday:

• rotate your drawing 90 degrees
• again, fill approximately 1/3 of your composition with a value
• erase the last thing you did in class
• draw the figure from memory
• establish some sort of pattern on your page, in specific areas, or all over
• use wet media for 5 minutes
• continue to resolve your drawings throughout the week

we will meet again on wednesday, 2/17.  perhaps these drawings can influence/inform/educate your accumulation drawings, remember those?  wednesday we will welcome another model, and wrap up working on our pentimentos.

i look forward to receiving everyone's emailed reflection by 5pm tomorrow! here's a small sampling of what i've heard so far about the process:

"It kind of got irritating becasue it all stated to blend together alike after a while, but I think im going to enjoy the challenge of  fixing this. Also i learned that i kind of like finger painting now for some reason lol."
